Common questions
How long before I can paint new plaster?
Fresh skim usually needs a few days to a couple of weeks to dry, depending on the thickness, the room and the time of year. It should be an even light colour all over before you paint, starting with a mist coat.
Can you plaster over artex or old plaster?
In many cases, yes. Sound surfaces can be skimmed over after preparation. Loose or blown plaster needs taking back first, and we'll tell you which it is when we look.
Do you do small jobs?
Yes, from a single wall or ceiling up to whole houses and developments.
Do you give free quotes?
Yes. Send us the room sizes, a few photos and the location, and we'll come back to you with a no-obligation quotation.
